I have a left over piece and don't know where it goes as the instructions are non-existent.
Answer: If the piece that is left over looks like a screw, once the fan is hanging on the wall at the top behind the fan there is a hole where the screw goes into to fasten it tighter. Hope this helps -

How do I keep the fan head in place?
Answer: May be the screw on the fan needs tightening up as I have three and have never had this problem before -

Answer: It tilts to approximately 45 degrees from vertical. You could mount it on a sloping bracket if you wanted more than that. It also depends on the height it would be mounted at. -

Answer: No, unless you're qualified to take it apart and fiddle with it! If you've no idea though, maybe just get used to the beeps. -
