Answer: The aquarium heater is 50W with a voltage of 220-240V/50Hz. -

How should I maintain the heater for best performance?

Answer: This aquarium heater is noiseless, don't worry. -

I just brought and seems that it doesn't heat. Light switched on only once when I put inside.
Answer: Could you check the power socket---maybe change another and try again? If there is still a problem, you can send message to the seller, they always solve the problem very soon. -

My filter has space for heater to fit inside, current one has broke. Can this be put inside filter housing or does it have to stay out?
Answer: If the space in the filter is enough and the water can flow, and the heater needs to be submerged into water completely, you can do that, as the heater will detect the temperature around it and adjust the water temp. automatically. -

Submerged then plugged in. No red indicator light?
Answer: Check that the Heater Temperature is Correct and that the Water may be Warmer than the Heater Temperature set. -

Am I able to put this horizontal on the side of the glass in the water?
Answer: Yes, you can. You can set it with any angle you want, but please make sure the heater needs to be under water fully. -
Question:
Unit only switched on when submerged, the indicator light is orange and every so often turns off but then turns back on? Is it faulty?
Answer: Not faulty. It comes on when it needs to come back up to temperature again, mine does it to, perfectly normal. -
Question:
How do you turn the temperature down on this?
Answer: There should be a short ribbed adjuster on the top usually, turn it anti-clockwise to lower the temperature. -
Question:
I just bought this and it turned on when I put it in the tank but has not turned on since?
Answer: If you turned it on before putting it in the tank you may have burnt it out by overheating the element? If it was after putting it in the tank then it’s usually one of two things, 1 water is at correct temperature or 2 unit is faulty?
