Answer: To fix, warm a little with hair drier to warm adhesive, to remove warm again until you can remove hook. -

Answer: No - but the doors I used hooks on were unpainted - natural wood. -

It says not to use on painted walls but pictures show the hooks stuck to painted walls! Do they stick? My kitchen is painted of course.
Answer: I use it on my painted kitchen wall to hang a large clock. No problems at all. My daughter uses one in a downstairs toilet to hang a small towel - also a painted wall. Very pleased with these hooks. -

Could these be used to hang a lamp from the ceiling?
Answer: Not sure about a lamp. I have ornamental swords which I hang on the wall also a large welsh shield. I can only advise you to try them. I am sure you will find some use for them. -
Question:
How much weight will these hold when hanging under a horizontal surface (I want to hang some heavy cables under my desk)?
Answer: That should be fine - they grip really firmly. I used them to hang some exterior Christmas lights and they are really strong!
