    Answer: Yes, I downloaded the app on my Samsung S9 and it works fine. Also tested with a Samsung Note 10 and it worked. Hope this helps.
  • Question: Is this device suitable to use if you have a pacemaker fitted?

    Answer: I see no reason it should not be suitable for a person with a Pacemaker but I don't think would be necessary.
  • Question: Does this work with Apple iPhone SE and macOS Big Sur 11.6?

    Answer: It doesn't need an iPhone or an Android phone to work, it's a standalone device and you can see the results on the device screen. However, if you want to print the results you will need either an iPhone, Android phone, or a PC. The results can be Bluetoothed to either of these devices for printing or viewing.
  • Question: Can this record pulse rate (not full ECG) for long periods (12/24h) on a phone?

    Answer: Unfortunately, I smashed the screen on mine, but from memory I believe the longest it will record an ECG is 5 minutes. It doesn't record just your heart rate.
  • Question: Is the data in the app displayed only as a visual chart of EKG? Is it possible to download it as numerical time series and use it in Excel?

    Answer: Hello, it can be saved as PDF format.
  • Question: What type of charger/USB connector does this product use?

    Answer: The unit comes with its own USB charging lead, standard USB male plug one end to plug into a standard charger plug and a micro USB male plug to go into the unit. I've found only the lead supplied fits the unit.
  • Question: Is this device FDA approved?

    Answer: No, it is not FDA approved. It is EU approved medical device. The more expensive £500 one is FDA approved.
  • Question: Can the live trace be downloaded or only the static ECG?

    Answer: The video of the recording is only saved in the history of the monitor. When transferred to the app, only a static trace with no grid is stored in the app. From that trace however, you can export a PDF file with the grid of an ECG paper where you can add the name and any other information you want to add and proper reading of the ECG trace is facilitated.
