The extensive range of colors has satisfied many, including beginners and seasoned artists alike. A notable aspect of the product's reception is its user-friendly characteristics; customers have described the pastels as smooth and easy to use, which can be particularly beneficial for those new to pastels. Feedback indicates that even younger artists, such as a middle school grandchild who was gifted the set, find the pastels valuable and enjoyable for their artistic endeavors. Despite these positive attributes, some customers have noted concerns regarding the physical condition of the pastels upon arrival, mentioning issues like color transfer between individual sticks. While one user observed that their experience didn't match the promotional images, they still recognized the utility of the pastels for mixed media projects involving resin and clay. Additionally, there were mentions of the size of the pastels; some users expected longer sticks but found the provided sizes to be "cute." In summary, the Faber-Castell Soft Pastel set is well-received for its vibrant colors and ease of use, making it a suitable choice for both beginners and experienced artists. However, minor concerns about product presentation and size do linger. **
