Salomon Trekking & Hiking Footwear LG5640 $ Editorial Review
The Salomon Hiking Shoe has received mixed reviews from customers. Some users laud its weatherproof and warm features, as well as its ability to keep their feet dry during activities like walking the dog in the snow. The shoes are described as secure, easy to latch and tie, and resistant to slipping. However, some customers find the shoes uncomfortable. The upper part felt too tight for one user, particularly while cycling, and another felt bruising after wearing them for extended periods. Additionally, the sole was found to be unsuitable for smooth, wet surfaces and caused discomfort and blisters for some users. Overall, the shoes are described as durable and stable for activities in challenging outdoor terrain. However, there are concerns about the durability of the stitching and the overall longevity of the shoes. One customer reported that after only 500km, the double stitching had split, leading to disappointment and an impression that the shoes were not worth the investment.
