The arm is 34 inches long from the middle of the curve to the end where it attaches to the door/ladder and 22 inches to the pivot that mounts to the frame, and it comes with the pivot point bracket. The kit is compatible with most attic ladders, and customers have reported that it worked for their ladder even if they didn't know the brand of the ladder. The kit is reasonably priced and arrives quickly. However, there are some downsides to note. The kit does not come with the lag bolts needed for installation, so customers might need to purchase these separately. Additionally, some customers had difficulty removing the counter-spring while in the attic with the folding stair folded up, and attaching the new brace was a bit tricky with only half of the support on the folding stair. Furthermore, one customer reported that they bought the wrong arms for their ladder, and when they went to return them, they had to pay for return shipping.
