Product Details
- A toggle switch is a type of electrical device that is actuated by moving a lever back and forth to open or close an electrical circuit. A MAINTAINED toggle switch changes its position when actuated OR MOVED and will remain in the position until actuated OR MOVED again. Stays/ Maintains / Latch / Locks in position placed. This particular switch has a bat style joystick handle.
- Mounting Hole size is 12 MM or 1/2 in just pop it in. Two vital components that confirm what sorts of connections a switch makes are pole and throw. These are classified based on the connections they make. The terms pole and throw are also used to describe switch contact variations. The number of poles is the number of separate circuits which are controlled by a switch. The number of throws is the number of separate positions that the switch can adopt.
- 15 amps at 250 VAC and 20 Amps At 125 VAC or 20 Amps At 12V DC and 10 Amps at 24 VDC. Also make sure you are using a switch and wires sufficient to handle the power that you are carrying. In higher draw applications, a relay may be needed. Always use a fast blow fuse of rated amperage. Use terminals of good enough grade to handle the amperage in switch to avoid heat and damage.
- Double Throw Double Pole Two Position. It routes two separate circuits, connecting each of two inputs to one of two outputs. The position of the switch determines the number of ways in which each of the two contacts can be routed. They can connect two different power sources to two different loads or accessories at the same time.
