The Savannah 3 Piece Carbide Mini Turning Tool Set is a great addition to any lathe toolkit, providing good value for money. The set includes three handles, three carbide tips and an Allen wrench and comes with a flush fit comfort grip hardwood handles and a steel riveted ferrule. The carbide bits can also be sharpened on a diamond hone stone with oil to extend their life. Initial questions around the set including whether the set includes the tool required to replace the tip to which the answer is yes. The shaft has a flat bottom and once the carbide lathe tools have saw dust and sometimes CA glue on it, the blade shouldn't come loose. In terms of compatibility, it was not clear whether these fit the Savannah part #7586. The 3 carbide wood handle kit or the Easywood turning tools and it is recommended to visit https://azcarbide.com/ or if the tool holder takes standard carbide inserts, then they should fit. Replacement parts for just the square edge are available however, it is cheaper to buy the 3 piece set to save money.
