  • Question: How quiet is this fan supposed to be? of the two of these i've tried, both have pretty loud motor drone. did i get 2 defective ones?

    Answer: Mine is very quiet
  • Question: How well do these handle getting wet? Can this fan be used in full exterior?

    Answer: I don't believe they are made to get wet at all. They work well but are cheaply constructed. They should be mounted where they won't get bumped as the base is weak. As another user mentioned, the switch is also a weak point. I have 4 of these on a boat. The swivel base has broken on two and was eliminated so the fans cant be turned side to side and the one that gets the most use has a worn out switch. It still works on two out of three speeds. Still, good luck finding another similar sized fan that moves as much air and has all the same features.

    Answer: Yes it does very good quietest fan ever. have 2 in the bedroom of my motor home love them. Best part wife loves them . I added a variable speed switch and made it even better. can get you part number of it if you want it

    Answer: Thank you for your question. This fan requires to be mounted with the screws only. The clip mount that you are referencing is designed for use with our Ultimate model fan.
  • Question: Where is the switch at?

    Answer: Thank you for your question. The grey emblem in the middle is the push button switch.
  • Question: How do you clean the blades? Can the grills be removed to do so?

    Answer: Thank you for your question. To clean: turn power off. A vacuum can be used to clear the fan of any dust build-up and a dry cloth may be used to wipe the surface. Do not use gasoline, thinners or other harsh chemicals to clean the fan.
  • Question: I need a mount for this!

    Answer: It comes with mount and screws. The mount is strong and flexible. It works as advertised.
  • Question: Wire gauge

    Answer: Just guessing. When I used wire stripper it was between 18 and 22 gauge.
