Answer: Add 1/3rd cup of water to each disc to rehydrate. -

Answer: No, it only contains coconut fiber. -

Would this product be suitable for growing succulents?
Answer: Succulents seem to grow in just about anything and do not need a lot of moisture once they have rooted. Coir by contrast is very good at retaining moisture and is excellent for germinating seeds. -
Question:
I’m a science teacher and looking for a soil that’ll sustain earthworms for a couple of weeks. Do you think that they could be healthy in it?
Answer: You will need to add nutrients for the earthworms to be happy... compost would be a much better choice if you need a huge pile. This soil has no nutritional value for earthworms at all. It might work if you add a little compost and then some quickly biodegrading items like bananas so the worms would grow quickly and multiply. -

Will this soil be good for planting potatoes?
Answer: It would be fine for potatoes, although you could do it in hay. Look at a youtube video about growing potatoes in hay. -

Which size pellet would best suit a 10x10 microgreen tray?
Answer: Since one puck yields 4 cups when hydrated, a single puck would do a 10x10 tray just fine. -
Question:
Will this help to grow sunflowers indoors?
Answer: It has helped to grow a range of plants indoors! -
Question:
Is this coir thoroughly washed, does it have salts in it?
Answer: Coco-coir has no pH. You must use your water to soak it until the pH you put in is coming out of the runoff. -
Question:
Why does the size and weight vary so much? Just got two bricks. One is about 33% thicker and heavier.
Answer: Really can't explain that! Sounds like a question for the supplier. But you will more than likely get much more than you need. -
Question:
Outside can I put down grass seeds and the put these to use as topsoil? I need to add new soil to my top layer of lawn so grass not weeds can grow.
Answer: These are really meant to be a seed starter with the resulting plant transplanting into standard plant/garden soil once they are large enough. I wouldn't recommend using them as a top layer for a lawn. Additionally, it would be very expensive to get enough to try and cover a lawn.
