It comes with a holder that can be glued to a baseplate and it holds tightly without the need for glue. The motor can be loud during operation but its low voltage results in a small hum. There were mixed reviews on the assembly instructions provided with some finding it challenging. The motors in the set worked great and were able to be used as replacements for a variety of products. The size and idea were liked by many, but some did not like its performance.
