RuiJOTWAT Tools Editorial Review
The 6" Guitar Fret Wire End Cutter has garnered a mixed reception among users. On one hand, several customers appreciate its ability to cut fret wire flush to the wood, a desired quality among luthiers and guitar technicians. They express satisfaction with its performance and value, noting that the price is reasonable compared to higher-priced alternatives marketed specifically for guitars. However, not all feedback is positive. Some users report significant issues, particularly when using the cutter on stainless steel frets. They encountered problems such as blade denting after just a couple of uses, leading to frustration and disappointment in the product's durability. This has resulted in some customers deeming the tool a waste of time and money, prompting returns. Overall, while the cutter performs well for some types of fret wire and offers good value, issues with durability, especially with tougher materials, have disappointed a subset of users. **
