    Answer: No, Windows 7 and 8.1 will not run properly on any x299 platform. The only windows version that will run properly on the x299 platform is Windows 10.

    Answer: While technically yes, the actual answer is no, because they rebranded all the skylake processors into the X-series of processors. But if you're wanting to know if this is part of the family formally known as Skylake.. Yes it is.
  • Question: Is it good for checking email?

    Answer: Very good for checking email, just be on the lookout for Spectres causing Meltdowns.
  • Question: What motherboard do I need?

    Answer: Any motherboard with Intel X299 chipset or LGA 2066 socket which is the same thing.
  • Question: Would a 240rad radiator all in one work for this or should I get a 360 rad?

    Answer: AIO and X-series chips don't belong in the same sentence especially if you plan on attempting an OC. You will need a custom loop with at least a 480 rad.
  • Question: Would this be a solid CPU for a single PC streaming rig? (Current FPS games). I have an i5 6600k and it can barely stream anything.

    Answer: That's weird, I have the same CPU and I can stream 1080p60fps. But I also have it OC'd to 4.4GHz.
  • Question: Can it run an Atari 2600 emulator without slowdown?

    Answer: More like how many instances of an Atari 2600 emulator can you run without slowdown.
