GLARRY Solid Body Editorial Review
The GLARRY 39 GLP Electric Guitar Solid Body Full Size Kit for Beginner is a good option to learn maintenance, intonation, and fret/board setup without risking expensive guitars. It requires some work to make it playable, but it's perfect for beginners. The craft of the body and neck is excellent, and the pickups are of good quality for the price point. The intonation is sharp, and the frets are gritty, but this is expected for such a low-cost guitar. The bridge pickup is a bit too microphonic, but it can be easily fixed. A bone nut is recommended to improve the tone and clarity of the guitar. The body is pretty, extremely light, and the hardware is good. However, the pickups are trash, and the neck needed extra sanding. Fretwork is quite good, though a few frets popped out and had to be beaten back into place. The guitar is a great value for the money, and it's even better if you upgrade it.
