Fu-Touristin tuotannossa yhdistyivät muun muassa kierrätetty 1980-luvun disko, elektro, house ja dance. Sjöroos teki musiikkinsa lähinnä itse, mutta esityksissä kokoonpano oli nelihenkinen: Jori Sjöroos, Jussi Lehtinen, Ville Särmä ja Tom Riski. Fu-Touristilla oli levytyssopimus Sonyn Epic Recordsin kanssa. Fu-Tourist tuli suuren yleisön tietoon singlellään King Kong of the Dance Floor vuonna 1999, mutta oli jo tätä ennen julkaissut muitakin singlejä niin CD- kuin LP-levyinäkin.
