Although the recommended diameter for ethanol distillation is 6mm or 12mm, depending on the size of the flask and the volume to be distilled. It is unclear if they are true borosilicate glass, however, they appear to not be porous and can withstand temperatures above 350°C when used with strong inorganic acids. The product does not have holes drilled into it and can be boiled to kill germs. Customer experience and reception: Customers have used them for various purposes including mixing up paint in small bottles, agitators in acrylic dropper bottles, and fractionation distillation to reduce Total Dissolved Solids. However, some customers received a thinner package and experienced issues due to the smaller size or inaccurate description.
