The Zircon Leak Alert Water Leak Detector is a battery-powered device that is very easy to install and is perfect for leak detection under sinks, next to washers, under sanitary tubs, in less-used bathrooms, damp prone areas in basements, and many other places. It has two heavy-gauge wires connected to it which must come into contact with the water before issuing a loud 90Db audio alarm. Batteries (9-volt) are not included with the product but can last up to six months to a year, and it gives a low-battery notification when the battery needs replacement. The detector has a replaceable battery feature where you can replace the low battery with a new one. Notably, this device does not connect to a 5GHZ Wi-Fi network, but you can have the WiFi Email alert function turned on or off in the configuration setup with your home Wi-Fi router. Overall, this is a straightforward and budget-friendly alarm system, and numerous customers have used them for decades in their homes. They have a simple design, and the alarm chirping is also very loud. It is beneficial for preventive maintenance to avoid a plumbing disaster, which could cause more damages.
