4Pcs Drop Leaf Table Support Folding Table Hinge 180Folding Cross Spring Hinges with Mounting Screws

The 4Pcs Drop Leaf Table Support Folding Table Hinge has garnered a mixed reception from users, reflecting a wide range of experiences and sentiments. While many have lauded the hinges for their strength and functionality, others have pointed out significant design flaws that impact their effectiveness in practical applications. On the positive side, a number of customers appreciate the strong Construction and straightforward installation of the hinges. Those who have successfully incorporated them into their drop leaf tables report that they function well without requiring frequent adjustment, demonstrating reliability during use. Additionally, some users have creatively worked around minor installation issues, such as using raised washers to ensure a more polished appearance. However, several critiques highlight substantial concerns. Many users mentioned the necessity of creating a mortise in both the table and the leaf, which may not have been clear prior to purchase. A significant design flaw noted is the way the spring tension operates; rather than keeping the leaf elevated, it tends to force it downward, leading to sagging when in use. This issue is compounded by assembly tolerances that allow for excessive play, which ultimately detracts from the hinges' performance in long-term applications. Moreover, the frustration expressed by some users who couldn’t return their product due to timing issues further illustrates a gap between expectation and reality with this product. In summary, while the 4Pcs Drop Leaf Table Support Folding Table Hinge can serve well for specific setups, potential buyers should be cautious regarding the required installation details and the functional limitations of the design. **
