Answer: Hi! We recommend using the lava stone along with a moisturizing body wash. After you have exfoliated your feet, we suggest applying lotion or body butter to the feet, or even better yet some argan oil and then putting on clean cotton socks so that your feet really soak up the moisturizer/oil. My problem is really calluses on the sides of my big toes. Is the stone too large to work on toes?
Answer: It's a matter of dexterity and the size of your toes. I don't know about getting in between the smaller toes but sides and tips are do-able. -

Does anyone know the Origin of this stone?
Answer: I'm unsure, if feels and looks like a real lava rock. I've had mine for quite a while now, and it has taken scrubbings like a champ. I am unsure if it actually pumice though, but I am sure it is a real lava rock. It's dense, hard, and tough, but still exfoliates your feet without hurting you. -

Answer: Hi, as long as it is in tact and stored in an area where it is able to dry out, you should be good to use it for years. -

Is this Pumice stone good for calluses on knees and elbows ??
Answer: By Nature this pumice is brittle, but HARD. I don't think it would be well tolerated on the hard corners of knees and elbows. I use it on my feet, and still have to be careful not to remove a layer of skin. -

Does it have a rough texture? My bf needs one that will remove dead skin & the smooth ones don’t do that
Answer: This stone has a rather gentle surface, however, it should be enough to remove dead skin -

Answer: Hi Destiny, You can certainly use it on your body, we have customers that mention using it on their arms, hands, legs, knees, feet etc., just be sure to make sure that the Pumice stone is wet and that you apply a gradual pressure when scrubbing so that you know how much is needed.
