This product is a first flush water diverter. It comes with photos on the box to assist in assembly but no assembly instructions. Buyers can find assembly video on YouTube if they Google the brand. It works with vertical flowing up into the tank and does not come with clear PVC downspout. It has a ball that allows more water to enter the filter and works great. The inlet and outlet take a 4" PVC pressure pipe, but with the adapters provided, buyers can use cheaper 4" PVC sewer pipe with a smaller ID which fits the adapters. No adapter is provided for the outlet to the filter section, and it does not come with a 4" vertical tube. In general, customers were satisfied with the product, which they felt was easy to install and worked great, catching contaminants and diverting clean water properly. Some felt that it was missing clear instructions or some necessary components, while others appreciated the cheaper option available for piping.
