The Siglent SDS2104X Plus Oscilloscope is a well-built and reasonably quiet instrument that offers excellent performance for various needs. It has a fast UI with a professional design, making it incredibly easy and straightforward to operate. The web-server interface is responsive, and the virtual touch interface makes it easier to access and control. The unit is light, which enhances mobility, and the large screen provides an exceptional view of signals, giving the user more accurate readings. The oscilloscope's FFT function works perfectly, with a clear display of the axes' labeling and max hold function, making it an essential tool for electronics enthusiasts. The formula editor allows for mathematical functions, while the massive memory capacity of 200 Mpts can store data for an extended period. It also comes with math functions with adjustable colors and channels, improving the user experience. However, the oscilloscope has a few setbacks. It has poor intensity grading, limiting accuracy, and its function generator lacks AM, FM, or other features. Single-shot utilization does not use the entire memory, even when manually configured. It is also desirable to have color and dot grading for FFT, logical links in mathematical functions, and a measure all function. The package comes with the instrument, but users have complained about the poor quality of the probes. Although two out of four arrived defected, it doesn't take away the oscilloscope's excellent performance. Overall the Siglent SDS2104X Plus Oscilloscope provides an excellent user experience, making it more than enough for all projects.
