Although there is no need for pinch weld adapters, the company is in the process of developing ones for Lexus-Toyota, Mercedes-BMW, and all Tesla models. One of the negatives of this product is that the ball detent in the pin is not strongly retentive. This means that the pin will not move with the weight of the vehicle on it. The majority of customers are happy with the purchase of these jack stands. One of the selling points is that they are lightweight and easy to store. However, some customers have reported manufacturing issues such as casting flash that prevented the locking pin from seating correctly.
