Customers have reported that DDR5 RAM speeds up to 7600 work with the board and that it has 4 RAM slots. The motherboard natively supports DDR5, while the ASUS Z790-A D4 model supports DDR4. Customers should use a high-end power supply with at least 800 watts, as every component draws power from the motherboard. The NZXT H9 Elite Dual-Chamber ATX Mid-Tower gaming case is supported. The Ethernet controller version is the Intel Ethernet Controller I226-V. A 3-slot GPU can be installed on the board, along with two other PCIe cards. A Samsung Pro 980 M.2 drive with a heat sink can be installed, but it is best to go without the heat sink. The boot time with an M.2 SSD is around 9 seconds from Sleep mode.
