The Red Lion 14942739 RL-SP25T sump pump is a mix of aluminum and thermoplastic, with a tethered switch and an 8-foot cord, it effectively pumps 2900 gallons per hour at 14 horsepower and 115 volts. Buyers were impressed by the operating price of $63 but were caught off guard when repurchasing it at $125. Some had problems with blockages and some were unhappy that the 4" of float travel caused a quick turn-on and turn-off cycle, though they did appreciate the reliability.
