The color is a sheer white nail color and not a gel. It has a somewhat strong scent if you get close. The Summit of Style nail color is a top coat with multi-faceted metallic glitter. The product is not as good as gold and wears off easily, even after three coats. The yellow color is more muted and pastel than in the photo depiction. The black color comes off easily and is not long-lasting. The color is alright, and the product is of great value. It is perfect for spring, but it chips or peels in the first 24 hours.
