The film revolves around a Japanese girl who mutilates herself after her husband breaks up with her. While this movie has good replay value, its optical censoring below the waist nudity blurs most nude sequences, which will disappoint those who want to experience gore and violence without censorship. Its gruesome content, including graphic disembowelling, is worth watching if you are not squeamish. The film has that voyeuristic quality common to shot-on-video films that enhance a sense of realism, but there are some odd choices on visual effects such as flares that interrupt the movie's impact.
