    Answer: No, you must remove one or the other. Replace with nuts.

    Answer: I would only use it for low voltage connections.

    Answer: They are 4-40.

    Answer: There is a ground pin that can be used the case is plastic so using the pin is your better bet hope this helps you

    Answer: Traditionally pin 5 is ground on a DB9 connector. Any other pin can be the hot one. I would probably choose pin 1.
  • Question: Are pins 6,7,8 and 9 connected? Can they be used?

    Answer: Yes, all 9 pins are connected and available for whatever custom layout you require.
