However, the flow rate drops after installing a filter, putting a hose and nozzle, around 12-14GPM total. Depending on the hose diameter, the flow rate may vary, but it should be around 18 GPM using 80’ of 1.5” hose. This pump does not come with a suction tube, but a 1 1/4" black iron pipe cut to the proper length for the tank is recommended. The pump can work with an automatic shut-off nozzle, but the term "remote" refers to how the pump is turned on. The package comes with a 1" x 18' hose. Although some customers have reported missing parts or received a defective product, the majority of reviews show positive feedback. Customers have used this pump to fill up above-ground 1000 gallon fuel barrels, and easily pump 20 GPM with a 1" fuel filter.
