This Owon SDS8302-V Series SmartDS Deep Memory Digital Storage Oscilloscope is a capable stand-alone scope that meets specification and is easy to use. For the price point, it is a great device. The external USB storage port works easily for transferring images and raw waveform tables to a PC. However, the software has problems, and it crashes when trying to use it to alter settings on the oscilloscope. The VGA output works, but produces noisy and wavy video output. The latest software download allows remote control, but still has a few bugs and hiccups. The device itself is good and everything they specify is accurate and functions well. It also comes with two probes, rather than just one. Overall, this scope represents good value for money and offers superior features compared to some industry-leading name brands.
