The FibroPool 0.5HP Swimming Pool Pump is a high efficiency single speed motor with clear top lid, designed and assembled in the USA. It comes with hose adapters included and has a screen basket to prevent clogging from leaves and debris. In terms of performance, it pulls 368 watts, 3.2 amps, and is 60 hertz, 120 volts. The thread diameter on the inside of the connector is 1 1/2''. The pump has good output and is super quiet. However, some customers have experienced issues with the product. One customer received a pump that had foam forcefully shoved in on one side and a detached waterproof gland on the electrical box. Another customer had trouble getting the o-ring to stay in the groove, which may cause leaks. Another customer experienced a loud buzzing sound after 2 weeks of use and difficulty sealing the output side of the pump. In terms of Pros and Cons:
