It has a maximum height of 81cm, 31.88 inches but can be made taller at the risk of instability. The stand can hold weight depending on the centering of the weight on the central pole, and sandbags are required on the base. The stand needs added weight if one is Considering using it for softboxes, and the size of the softbox would be limited because of the height from the floor. The latter happens because the riser can detach from the base, which poses the risk of instability when mounting heavier equipment. One would need a suitable cross arm to mount two items on this stand. Customers are pleased with this purchase due to its sturdy metal, Construction, and wheels.
