LILYGO TTGO T-Relay ESP32 Wireless Module DC 5V 4 Groups Relay Development Board 4MB Flash WiFi BLE Remote Switch Control

The LILYGO TTGO T-Relay ESP32 Wireless Module is a development board that allows switching control of 4 groups of relays through WiFi or BLE remote control. Customers had questions regarding powering voltage, compatibility with Alexa, and the amp rating for relays. The relay has a contact rating of 10A 120V ac/24V dc and a maximum switching power of 1800VA, 360W. While the board can't be controlled by cell phone add, it can be integrated with Alexa APIs. The board is not available with 30A relays and only comes in 4 or 8 relay versions. Customers also had questions regarding the handling of 120V AC and compatibility with xLights. The reviews showed that the board is well-made and has good quality relays. However, there were some complaints about the documentation of headers and the use of HW I2C pin 21 for a relay instead of breaking it out for displays, RTC, etc. The fact that the board can only be programmed with the Lilygo UART dongle was also a negative feature for some. While the optoisolators on the coil side of the relays are present, they share the same 5V power, making the isolation useless.
