The Matework Cordless Electric Scissors are a handy tool for cutting various materials like carpet, cardboard boxes, paper, and vinyl. However, it can only cut thin materials up to 1/4 inch thick. It comes with a storage case, Type-C cable, and user manual for easy storage and portability. In terms of build quality, the handle, shell, and guard are well-made, but the trigger and safety latch are of poor quality. The safety latch requires a fair amount of force to depress, and the trigger can be pressed enough to engage the motor without even needing to press the safety latch. Although it works well enough for its intended purpose, safety is a concern when using this tool. On the positive side, it does a great job breaking down various cardboard products and cutting around tape. It is also beneficial to those who have trouble tearing cardboard due to reduced strength or arthritis. Additionally, battery life is quite good and does not generate too much heat from extended use.
