OWC Hard Drive Accessories OWCTB3SRKIT0GB Editorial Review
OWC ThunderBay 4 0TB Thunderbolt 40Gb/s Four-Bay Storage Enclosure offers a solid metal construction with a Thunderbolt 3 interface, ensuring high-speed data transfer and compatibility with both Mac and PC. Users appreciate the compact design and the ease of mounting drives, thanks to plentiful screws for secure fitting. The device features a built-in power supply, eliminating the need for an external power 'brick'. One common user feedback highlights the unit's reliability; it connects seamlessly and has not shown any disconnections even under full load. However, some users noted that the fan could be louder than expected in quiet environments, which might be a consideration for audio professionals.
