Answer: Mine have yet to go from green to any other color, and they are exposed to a bright sunny West window too. Weekly misting might work well if the company is located in South Florida where it is warmer and very humid, but not here in the Northeast. Air plants do not get planted in soil. Just put them in some water for about 30 minutes once a week. I have had mine for 3 years and they are about the same size as when I bought them. They have developed babies. They need all-day light but not direct sunlight. Yes, they can survive in an office with no windows as long as you have lighting on your desk. -
