These colors dry to a flat finish and require a 1K or 2K Clearcoat for the final finish. Don't worry about availability - our Chromacoat colors are also offered in pints, quarts, gallons, and touch-up pens, ensuring you have options for any project size. Applying Chromacoat colors is a breeze with our step-by-step guide. Before spraying your product or project, always perform a test panel to ensure the desired color outcome.
Prep your project by sanding and priming it like any other paint job. When you're ready to begin, shake the aerosol can for 3-5 minutes to ensure proper mixture. Apply 2-3 coats of the base coat color, leaving 10-15 minutes between each coat. Allow 45-60 minutes for the base coat to fully flash off before applying the Chromacoat color. Shake the aerosol can again for 3-5 minutes before applying 2-5 coats of the Chromacoat color, depending on the desired intensity.
