The Dollhouse is a plastic construction with a lot of pieces to put together. If you are looking for a surprise, it's best to assemble it first as it takes some time. The house is spacious and created a great opportunity to build more playtime by adding other dolls and furniture. The little pool didn't leak when filled with water, and included additional fencing provides a way to make a yard in the front. Yard and pool furniture is included in the house furniture. The three-room lights are battery operated, and the batteries last for a good week. Several customers stated the house won't stay together, suggesting it's flimsy and falls apart anytime it slightly falls over.
