It is being used in both an environmental lab as well as a micro lab, and has made life easier by eliminating the need for desiccant changes. The humidity levels are Consistently below 30%RH which is perfect for the lab's needs. It is also useful for drying out tropical and sub-tropical seeds, as it reaches 17% relative humidity after 24 hours. While the cabinet only comes with 3 shelves despite having 4 shelf slots, additional shelves can be requested from customer service. The hygrometer is 10 degrees off from a digital hygrometer, but a calibration test can be done to determine which is correct. The product makes a quiet whirring noise from the small fan, but it is not bothersome to staff. Overall, the product is well-engineered and received a smooth transaction from customers.
