This Reflectix expansion joint is a foam material that works well between walls or bricks before the pour. It also works well between a concrete wall and a paver driveway, and in an expansion joint. It has limited strength and frays easily so is not recommended for use in concrete forms. The foam is UV resistant as long as it is used between two surfaces and is not exposed to sunlight. Customers recommend using a sealant (silicon) for outdoor use on top to prevent dust accumulation in joints.
