AmeriColor Food Coloring AM 226 Editorial Review
AmeriColor Soft Gel Paste is a good quality, quick and easy solution for home bakers or professionals looking to create vibrant colored fondant, buttercream or royal icing. Its Consistency is thin enough to be sprayed from an airbrush machine, making application quick and fuss free. The opaque and concentrated nature of the paste makes it ideal for coloring gelatin, and frosting getting the perfect bright white finish. While the bottle is a good size, a few customers reported that half of it had leaked on arrival, so be sure to check before placing an order. On the whole, reviewers were pleased with the results that could be achieved with the AmeriColor paste, however, some noted that it did leave white specks in mixtures, which could look unsightly, and it would be best not to use in chocolate. In addition, some found that with too much paste, there was a slight taste, which may not be desirable in some recipes.
