This product is a power socket with a switch that can handle up to 15 amps. It comes with an installed 5 amp fuse. Customers have reported that it works well, has a nice feature of an annunciator to signal when it's turned on, and is easy to install. However, some customers have reported issues with loose connectors, melted connectors when running Consistent power for days on end, and getting incredibly hot and smelling like burning wire. The wiring colors may be identified to function by means of your own AC voltmeter, as they are not apparently colored to any standard. The hot and neutral wires are mixed as shown in the photo, so customers should be careful. Some have suggested fixing the loose connectors by soldering them.
