It contains 1% Ketoconazole and 0.2% Benzethonium Chloride, which help combat bacterial, yeast, and fungal infections. The shampoo has a pleasant scent and does not have a strong medicine smell. It is not recommended for use on cats for mites. After applying the shampoo, it is important to wash it off completely. The shampoo is safe to use on pregnant dogs. However, for pets in that condition, it is advisable to use a non-scented dish soap. The shampoo does not contain salicylic acid and does not work on hyperpigmentation. It may cause flakes on the fur after use. The shampoo can be used in combination with a conditioner. While it may be safe to use on guinea pigs, it is recommended to consult a veterinarian before doing so.
