Nutritionist's Take
SILKA Odor Fighting Foot Powder & Shoe Deodorizer is designed to absorb sweat and reduce odors, which can be beneficial for maintaining foot hygiene. The inclusion of corn starch powder may provide a natural absorbent quality, while talc is used for its moisture-absorbing properties. However, talc has been linked to health concerns due to potential contamination with asbestos, which raises questions about ingredient safety. The cooling beads can offer temporary relief from moisture-related discomfort, but their long-term effects are unclear. While this product may improve localized foot odor and moisture management, it should not substitute for regular foot hygiene. Overall, while it provides some practical benefits, consumers should be cautious regarding the talc content and consider alternative natural powders for foot care, especially those with specific health concerns or sensitivities.
