It is easy to use and allows more than one Modbus-TCP client per serial interface. Additionally, it is being utilized as a Modbus RTU to TCP converter, and it is the best and easiest to use converter that some users have ever installed. The activity LED's are especially helpful for troubleshooting, and multiple Modbus masters can talk to the drives. One downside is that the port speed cannot be set to arbitrary values and higher values. Another thing to beware of is that the flow control it claims appears to refer to only the network portion of the link, so it does not provide hardware flow control from the actual serial source to the PC application.
