The mattress is not like a sleeping bag and is too heavy to carry with a backpack. It is designed mainly for indoor use but can be taken camping with waterproof lining in a tent. It has a white tag of contents describing it to be made of blended cotton batting, polyester fibre batting, and polyurethane foam pad. Though the covers are not available from the same company, any twin-size cover can be used to protect it. The Cons of this product are that it may smell funny and may cause some discomfort to the back for some users.
