ISDT Battery Testers Editorial Review
The ISDT BattGo BG-8S Battery Meter is a digital battery capacity checker, battery balancer and battery tester for LiPo/Life/Li-ion/NiMH/Nicd. It is not an active balancer and strictly discharges the high cells down to the lowest cell voltage. The device can be used after balance charging if there is a need for more precise balancing of the parallel cell groups. The BG-8S can be used for batteries that are 2s-8s, maybe 1s but definitely not 16s. The battery balancing function can take from 30-90 minutes and the balance discharge is very slow over time. The individual cell voltage reading may not be accurate but is pretty close and a few dozen milli-amps is needed for most cases. It is great for monitoring the Lipo's charge and the state of the cell's charge.
