    Answer: I would venture to say the Rover 60 would work well with the rod.

    Answer: I agree with Steve. Only thing, the grip on the handle could be a bit bigger and only on one end of the crank bar. (Personal preference)
  • Question: How much mono cap can the rover 50 hold?

    Answer: Close to 200 yards depends on the diameter of the line larger line like 40# test less than 10# test.
  • Question: Do it have free spool button?

    Answer: The link goes to the Rover 80. It has a free spool button on the case. Look at the 4th picture down which shows the back of the reel. The free spool button is the chrome/nickle plated rectangular button on the left just above the LB/YD marking. It is similar to an older Abu Garcia bait caster.
  • Question: Can I catch 100lbs catfish with the 70?

    Answer: Catching a 100# is depending on a lot of things. Hook, swivels, knots Obstructions, current and some extra hands. 30+ cat are all my 70 has tackled but with the stars aligned I would try mine on a beast like that. I doubt 2 people on this have every seen one much less caught one near that size. I never have. Good line, set the drag, ty good knots and get you one. Post a picture.
