The AKG Pro Audio C520 Professional Head-Worn Condenser Microphone is a headset mic that can be used wired or wirelessly by adding a wireless transmitter. It has outstanding sound quality but only when used within 2 inches of the mouth and slightly off to the side to avoid pops. It is mainly used for saxophone and can also be used on the accordion with the right bracket. It is not recommended for drums. The headset is adjustable but not very comfortable. It comes with a mini-XLR cable and a unique A400 adapter plate for easy mounting onto wireless body-pack transmitters PT40/45/450/470.
