VCE Cat 6 Cables Editorial Review
VCE CAT6 Keystone Coupler UL Listed is a pack of 5 PVC Ethernet connectors suitable for Cat6, Cat5 and Cat5e Ethernet cables. They are not compatible with Cat 7 cables. The UL number is E363400. These connectors are just termination points at the end of the cable and are not Considered shielded but it is the cable which needs to be a shielded twisted pair to avoid crosstalk. They are not punch down but couplers utilized to connect two wires with CAT5/6 male connectors and can snap into a keystone wall plate. These connectors are available in black, blue, red, white, and yellow. Customers appreciate the ability to use these connectors on both the front and back of the outlet as compared to using the screws at the back. Also, they have praised the color match and the fact that they work great. However, a few customers find using these connectors difficult with certain types of cables but this is not something that the manufacturer can control. One customer noted that they are not as substantial as brands like Leviton or Legrand, but they fit well and work perfectly at a good price. Finally, the couplers are great for last minute cabling repairs, and they snap in and out of the keystone wall plate easily.
